Rody Jacobs

President

Rody Jacobs, President of Jacobs Land Management, was raised in Augusta, GA, and holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Georgia. After founding a Residential Landscape Design/Build firm during his studies in Athens, GA, Rody expanded his expertise into the commercial landscape contracting realm.

In 2007, he founded Jacobs Land Management, focusing on commercial new construction landscape design and installation across the Southeast. Over the last 17 years, Jacobs Land Management has grown into a full-service commercial and estate residential landscape design, installation, and maintenance firm. When he is not at work, Rody enjoys boating and traveling with his wife and two kids.

Maintenance Operations Manager

Robert Moak

Robert joined Jacobs Land Management team in 2013 and has over 20 years of experience in the landscape industry. Previously a small business owner, Robert understands the importance of growing lasting partnerships by providing excellent customer service and the best product possible.

Administrative Accountant

Julie Banks

Julie Banks has been integral to Jacobs Land Management since joining the company as an accountant in February 2015. With a robust background in finance, Julie graduated from Augusta Technical College in 1987 and brings 28 years of accounting and bookkeeping experience to her role. Her extensive expertise ensures that the company's financial operations run smoothly and efficiently. Julie's commitment to accuracy and detail makes her a valuable asset to the Jacobs Land Management team, contributing to the organization's overall success.

Marketing Director/ Assistant Administrator

Colleen Parr

A seasoned educator with a diverse background in arts and administration, Colleen has recently transitioned to Jacobs Land Management as our Marketing Director and Assistant Administrator. With a Bachelor's degree in Studio Art and a Master's in Education, her creative design and strategic planning skills enhance the company's branding and outreach efforts. Colleen's unique qualifications make her an asset in crafting compelling marketing campaigns and overseeing efficient administrative processes, bridging the gap between creativity and functionality in every aspect of her role.

Maintenance Account Manager

Brad Arnold

Brad has a well-rounded professional work history with over 20 years of experience in landscaping and several years as a real estate agent. With extensive experience in sales, management, and operations within the landscaping industry, he has cultivated a deep understanding of the field. Brad joined the Jacobs Land Management team in July 2024 as our Maintenance Account Manager. His role involves overseeing maintenance accounts, ensuring high service standards, and managing client relationships with a focus on excellence.

Installation Operations Manager

Jon Basil

Jon Basil started with Jacobs Land Management in 2016 as a groundsman on a landscape installation crew. His work ethic and passion for always doing the right thing quickly advanced him within the company from grounds to crew leader to now our Landscape Operations Manager. Jon’s background includes rigging cranes and parts manager over automobile repair technicians.

Luis Acosta-Moran

Luis was born in El Salvador where he earned a professional degree from Salvadoran University, IEPROS, honing his skills and passion for landscape design. In 1999, he moved to Augusta, Georgia, where he has spent the last 24 years building a fulfilling career dedicated to landscape design and maintenance. Since joining Jacobs Land Management in 2015, Luis has demonstrated unmatched dedication and professionalism. He continually seeks ways to enhance his work performance and stay ahead in the field. He believes that Jacobs Land Management provides all employees equal opportunities for personal development, fostering an inclusive environment that encourages growth. Outside of work, he is happily married and a devoted father to two wonderful daughters who inspire him to strive for excellence personally and professionally.

Jim Jacobs

Jim has a Bachelor's Degree in business management and over 30 years of experience in business development and account management. Jim started with Jacobs Land Management as a Maintenance Supervisor and is now tasked with keeping up with materials and supplies and ensuring our projects run efficiently. Jim's most important task, which he is best at, is Growing Partnerships with our Clients from the Ground Up!

Aaron Linebarger

Aaron is a dedicated professional with a degree in horticulture and over 15 years of experience in the landscape industry. He joined Jacobs Land Management in 2015. His career has spanned various roles, including landscape groundsman, crew leader, and maintenance supervisor, allowing him to develop a comprehensive understanding of the field. Aaron takes a hands-on approach to his work, engaging with his crews to ensure they receive the best training possible. He is committed to teaching safe and effective landscape maintenance practices and fostering a culture of safety and professionalism. Aaron's passion for horticulture and dedication to excellence make him a valuable asset to Jacobs Land Management.

Lead Landscape Designer

Gerold D. Harris Sr

Gerold is an accomplished landscape designer and nursery owner known for his dedication to horticulture and landscape design. On August 5, 1989, Gerold obtained his Certificate in Landscape Horticulture from Augusta Technical College. His passion for plants and design led him to further his education at the University of Georgia, where he graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture. As the owner of Olde South Nursery Inc., Gerold has established himself as a certified nurseryman (#397), providing high-quality plants and expert advice to clients and landscapers. Through his businesses, Gerold continues to inspire others with his expertise and commitment to enhancing the natural beauty of his community.
